My own post secret

Check out this site. It is full of people's confessed secrets.
Here is mine. it isn't mailed in. It isn't on a creative hand made post card. But here is my favorite coffee mug with a secret confession:

That is right people. I stole a coffee mug from my workplace kitchen.

Pose like you are smart

the latest in the "Pose like you are..." series

That last post was a bummer. a serious bummer. need something jazzy to get me through the rest of the day. (like 10 hours of sleep and two pots of coffee)

this series is "Pose like you are Smart"
August 2007 180
August 2007 182
August 2007 183
August 2007 188
I had a hard time with this. They kept telling me I was doing sexy so finally I had to pretend to be making a bridge. I just don't look smart (in this picture I look befuddled and possibly constipated) part of my master plan, lull people into a sense of security thinking that I am dumb, then whip them with my astounding intellect.
I am flippin Columbo. a sexy picture posing Columbo.

Friday- the whirlwind tour

so, it is Thursday. I am still in Dayton, Ohio at my second home, and I don't get back to my home until late on Thursday night.
over my morning coffee, I was gearing up for all the things I have to do on Friday and I just got a bit discouraged.
I am leaving Saturday morning for labor day weekend at the Home 40 in Clay City IL, and then in Dayton from Sept 4 through Sept 9 (you will notice this is Tues through Sunday. sigh)

  • I have a physical on Friday morning at 830am
  • I have meetings on Friday from 10-4pm. These all require me to lead them or prepare in some way.
  • I must have clean clothes for all these days.
  • I must pack my suitcase for all these days.
  • I must pack the car for the trip.
  • I still have all those friggin vegetables on my dining room table including a 6 lb cabbage.

This is just the stuff that I have to do to get through the immediate needs. I also have committed myself to provide about 30 award plaques for Sept 11 and someone's 4 year bag on September 13.

Hmmm. options:

  • just do it all and stop my whining
  • hire a personal assistant
  • hope and pray my fairy god mother will come and change me into a princess with a ball to go to.
  • wait for tricky elves to come and promise to do everything in exchange for some cleverly worded price

Here is how my home improvement projects go:
  1. I get an idea.
  2. Someone offers to help or I recruit someone to help me.
  3. This person helps me, but I am unhappy with their work or they don't let me help
  4. I get angry - often unproportionately angry to the situation. (side note - unproportionately isn't a word in the dictionary)
  5. I usually kick the person out of my house.
  6. I am forced to ignore the unfinished project until the anxiety and frustration leaves me.
  7. I wait with the project incomplete.
  8. Finally a solution to the botched job occurs to me.
  9. I complete it on my own.
  10. It turns out great.
  11. I wonder why I asked for/accepted help in the first place.

This pattern was followed with the showerhead mix-up, the caulk tape incident, a week long floor refinishing debacle, and then most recently with my new BBQ grill.

However, you will be glad to know that I finally completed the floor refinishing. And, as step 10 indicates, it turned out beautiful. I am so proud. The bed (coming around Sept 13) will be put onto the new floor.

And, hard to see, but that is my bedroom floor. the hallway in the foreground has not been refinished.

Here is one of my new lightswitches. It was made by my friend Wintergypsy.

And, here is my brother putting together my new grill. This picture is taken about 10 minutes before we got into a massive screaming match and I tried to make him leave.

100 things about me

I was reading someone guy's blog and he has a list of 100 things about himself. I want that! I want to have a list of 100 things about myself!

I love things about me. I love pictures of me. I love looking in the mirror and talking to myself.

Clearly, I am very into myself. I don't know if I am conceited or self centered or self involved. It is very hard to judge that for yourself. If you are 100% certain that you aren't, then perhaps you should revisit that assumption...

anyhow, back to me.

I need to figure out where to put such a list. and start working on it.

What is a Hipster?

I was recently at a local bar, Mickey's. It won an award from the local newspaper: Best Dive Bar. I argued that the bar was less "Dive" and more "Hipster". This opened a can of worms: what is a hipster?

tough question. Under the guidance of some martinis we give it some thought, but come up short on a final answer.
SIDE NOTE: Is a martini the right drink when in a hipster bar? It seems much more the appropriate choice for a yuppie bar (read Madison's - which I HATE!!!!). To support my argument that it is a hipster bar, Mickey's couldn't make anything besides a standard Vodka or Gin martini. Despite it being the wrong drink for the bar, it was the right drink for the situation. Loud and I had been out and about with others, but they went home to take naps and do other stuff. We kept drinking. We have found ourselves in this situation before and martinis were the answer.

Back the hipster debate. Here is how I defined it: you know those people, they wear tight black jeans, low on hips, white belt, tight graphic tee, listen to "underground" bands or electronica - Kitty's fiance offered that they listen to the Hives, but only before they were cool.
-----
the internet proves to be a great resource as usual.

Here is what the wikipedia article says:

A hipster is an individual who avoids and often explicitly rejects whatever is
seen as mainstream or corporate in nature, instead embracing alternative forms
of expression. Often, these alternative forms quickly become mainstream or
corporate themselves, thus creating an arms race between the
genuinely trendy and the "played out." Indeed, even the label "hipster" is no
longer desirable, and it is rarely used for self-identification, except in an
ironic or self-deprecating way.

I find the arms race comment to be particularly compelling. I remember in high school I told a friend that I liked a band called Morphine. She was surprised and said something to the effect of, oh, I didn't realize they were popular now. Gave me the impression she was immediately dropping the band.

I also found this picture on the internet - a graphic representation of a hipster. pretty accurate in my opinion.

Karl Rove

I wrote this post on Sunday, but held it until today.

Doing my favorite Sunday morning thing - drinking coffee and watching Meet the Press. This is made even more enjoyable because it is raining outside, I have candles lit, there is a fire in the fireplace, and my coffee has Baileys in it. I don't think it can get any better than this.

I thought that I would absolutely hate Karl Rove. He is the guest this week on Meet the Press. I don't hate him. I don't want to sleep with him, but I don't want to kill him.

Some of the guests previously on Meet the Press that I have wanted to kill:
Markos Moulitsas
Joe Biden

both Democrats. There have been plenty of Republicans that I have wanted to kill, but I can't remember their names right now.

So, what is it about Karl Rove? Well, he was eloquent, spoke calmly, and his redirection of his answers (not directly answering the questions) was soooo much more subtle than many politicians.

oh, and what is the deal with Fred Thompson? I mean geez, how long can you dance around outside of the race?

point of this post -politics is much more enjoyable with Bailey's in your coffee.

Due Date

Bed will arrive roughly Sept 13. This is conveniently during my two weeks of no travel. Look for a bed warming party invite (uh, that sounded bad, didn't it?) the week of Sept 16.

spice confusion to end soon

Here is the latest thing that will make me less crazy... a spice cabinet lazy susan. My spice cabinet is only 11" by 11" (for those inch challenged readers, small. very small.) and I can't find any of my spices. I still don't know if I have dried Basil in there. I think I do, but I can't find it. I mean, how do I have Tarragon and not Basil. What is going on?

Anyhow, at the low, low price of 6.99 each, I think that two of these little baddies are going to be shipping out to me soon.

Risk worth great pictures

Once upon a time I was on a trip that centered around drinking and hopeful debauchery. I brought my two week old digital camera. A guy on the trip (already heavy into said trip activities) broke his camera. I lent him mine. My camera got broke too.

While this may seem like a sad story, it is not.
1) viva la warranty! (and buying it at a local shop that can ship off said camera and print out a new copy of the reciept I lost)
2) his pictures on my camera were retrieved. and, they were so much better than mine.

He just takes an awesome picture. I don't know how he does it. But, I was reminded of this from his blog post today in which he recounts a recent trip:
Check out this travel journalism ability.

You don't even have to know these people. The whole darn thing seems so fun.
I wish that he and I were closer so I got to go on more trips with him where he took pictures of me.

What was your TBB?

I caught this in a blog post I was reading elsewhere:

And no, I wasn't drinking (thank you very much), this was in my TBB period (Time Before Beer).

Initially I was put out a bit. I mean, those who don't drink beer are usually prissy girls. But, then I thought about my friend Sara. She just recently joined the beer drinking world, timed nicely when she moved to LA, the least beer-y place on earth, from Wisconsin, the most beer-y place on earth.
Then, I thought about my TBB. it was long ago... in the 1990s! I didn't join the BDP (Beer Drinking Public) until my second semester freshman year in college. And, then it was Coors Light. Quickly transitioned to Busch Light - the champion beer of Dubuque since a 30 pack could be obtained for 11.99.
I then "grew up" and developed my beer palate. I like a very hop-y IPA now.
But, on summer vacations I prefer an ice cold refreshing Miller Lite. It takes me back to sunshine and lake water, boating and grilling. Such happy memories.

The TBB is something all of us have (or are still currently in). What is your TBB story?

Greatest photographer in the world

okay, I am not the greatest photographer in the world. But, didn't you get the point? I can't remember what the story was about, but I don't think it was the obvious: fancy swing dancing moves.

I did it.

I bought the bed. You forced me to do it with the record setting # of comments in favor of it. Well, that and the website was having a 20% off everything for one day sale. Pretty much knocked out the entire delivery/shipping cost.

I will have a party once it is delivered. we can all admire the bed with the shiny new floors.

for those who can't remember how wonderful it was:

I like porn

I don't know why, but I felt like I should use that as my title of this post. This post has nothing really to do with porn.

well, hold on. I was going to write a post about my new shoes. but heck! Now I feel like writing about porn.

Here are my thoughts - numbered to help organize the different trains of thought, but not in priority order

1) worst porn ever -scarred me. really. - the video is owned by my friend Todd, but he claims it was left to him by his former roommate a Japanese guy. If you want to hear all the details I can retell, but warning, it will fuck you up.

2) porn has ruined the world's perception of real breasts. I think that you might blame it on fake breasts themselves, but most people wouldn't have the opportunity to stare at fake tits for that long if almost all porn actresses didn't have fake ones.

3) acting in porn - not that important to me. I don't care that they can't act. but laughing in the middle sort of ruins the mood.

4) plot in porn - my thoughts on this are complex. (so complex they require indents and a whole new level of numbering....)
a)some porn doesn't need plot development - there is nothing worse than already being in the mood and just needing something to push you over the edge and then the movie takes a reallllly long time to get to any... action.
b) what if you aren't in the mood, but want to get into the mood? Then, I think you need a movie with good acting and good plot, but with porn action in the middle. Most movies don't have long enough or porn-y enough stuff in the middle.
c) I don't think b ever happens to men.
5) written porn- good. - buying book of porn at Barnes and Noble. not so good.

6) Personal feelings about porn videos. I don't own any porn videos, so I don't know, but Todd has concerns about other people watching his porn videos. Do people have feelings about their videos? hmm.

7) the unrealistic situations. How many people really have housewatchers? that lay around without their clothes on? What about the neighbor's wife wanting to sleep with you? after washing her car? My neighbors are old and not hot.

I have included a photo of my neighbor gardening. Running out to sunbathe nude to tantalize him does not cross my mind.
and yes that is a pipe. it fits nicely since he is missing at least four of his front top teeth.
on that note I don't want to think about porn any more.

sorry!

I have been out and about, sick, and just generally heavily medicated. also, I accidentally posted to the WI Roaming blog when I meant to post here. This was unfortunate since I didn't get credit here for a post and yet have no promised quotas to the WI Roaming blog. sort of screwed myself.

Here is what I have been thinking about or been burning me up...
the skinny white girl at the Dayton Marriott didn't recognize me. Meaning, I walked up to her and she asked my name. okay, I told her. Then, she got my keys without any acknowledgement that I had been here before. okay, that is fine too. But then, she really got me, she explained in very slow and deliberate fashion which elevator was closer to my room, that I was on the 6th floor and that is where the concierge level is, as well as the elevator I would want to take if I was going to stop there first and then directions to my room. I just kept my face passive.
I have been at this hotel 59 nights this year. That is out of the 226 days that have passed this year. I would like to point out that this means I sleep in the Dayton Marriott 26% of my nights. all I ask is that if you check me in for my hotel more than 6 of these times you at least recognize that I have been at the hotel before.
Also, my name isn't that usual. In fact, downright unusual. a Google search for my name finds exactly two entries - one outdated college reference and one for my Crazylegs finish (don't look that up please, I didn't finish last, just close, okay). Could my name be a key to remembering me?
My memorability credentials established I search for a reason why I am not remembered by the skinny white girl.
Side Note: This nickname may seem cruel. But this is to distinguish this Marriott employee from the others: awkward laugh girl, skinny black girl, chubby coat waving guy, Rudy Chavez look alike, and haggardy smoker lady - the only person whose name I actually remember is Livetta, the one that takes my room service order. The fact that I don't know their names is not an excuse for skinny white girl's behavior. I don't care if she remembers my name, I just want her to acknowledge that I have been here before and don't need directions to the flippin elevators. If I saw these people at the Dayton mall I would wave and acknowledge them...

Back to why she wouldn't remember me:
all I can think of is that my hair was curly that day, perhaps she didn't recognize me with the curly hair.
Note to self, curly hair should be added to the list for disguise options.

Another reason to love Madison

I got this email from a sustainability group I belong to (as if having a sustainability group in your community isn't enough of a testament to living in Madison Wisconsin, there is more...)

Greetings,
Many of you may already know it as "Hippie Christmas."
In fact, people come from all over the Midwest to experience the gluttonous testament to conspicious consumption that lines the curb come Aug. 15th when leases expire across Madison and people literally abandon tons of stuff for greener pastures.
What is not salvaged ends up in the garbage, costing taxpayers thousands of dollars in landfill tipping fees and driving hapless sanitation workers into a veritable frenzy.
It could be otherwise, which is why every couple of years some folks who believe another world is possible invite the community to spread the spirit of reciprocity, mutual aid, and stewardship by bringing unwanted items to a central location for redistribution.
This year's City-Wide Free Store will be setting up shop (temporarily) at Central Park, near the corner of S. Ingersoll and E. Wilson, beginning Tues. Aug. 14th and running through Thurs. Aug. 16th.
Because the Eastside Farmers Market occurs each Tues. from 4-7 pm, folks are asked to keep the gravel area free of stuff until the market is over, at which point the free store can expand into that space.
In typical Do It Yourself (DIY) style, volunteers are welcome to drop by at any point to assist in sorting stuff into useful sections (food, clothes, dishware, sports, furniture, electronics, books, etc.). That way folks can easily find what they need. Other volunteers will be circulating around town to collect what useful items are out there and bringing them back to the free store.
With your help, we can turn unnecessary trash into someone's treasure! Questions? Feel free to call the Infoshop #262-9036

umm, isn't that awesome? Sure, someone like my mother wouldn't be caught dead going to some sort of open air free junk market, but I am glad I live in a city where volunteers get together to do something like this.

New blog to check every day and HUGE package.

so, I like to take a break during my snarfing down lunch at my desk routine to check out some non work related internet material. Typically this involves checking in on other blogs (my friends, a food one, 2 decorating ones, and one random person's) - from that random person's blog I find a link to this one. I read a couple and it is good, something worth checking out regularly, but I stop in my tracks at the first picture in this post. Wow. that is quite a codpiece sir.... he must had plenty-o-room up in there.
funnily enough the blogger makes no note of the ridiculousness of the huge bulge in the pants. I can't take my eyes off of it...
what is wrong with me?

also, I stare at women's breasts a lot. it isn't just men.
hmph.

Iowa caucus not first! possible loss of entire state's self esteem!

http://thecaucus.blogs.nytimes.com/2007/08/09/south-carolina-pushes-up-primary/
South Carolina moved their primary up before Iowa's caucus. Iowa really likes being first. It makes them important when really, there isn't much else for them to brag about besides being the country's top pork producer (source) and having the Field of Dreams. (Remember the movie line: Is this Heaven? No, it's Iowa." - they LOVE that line)

I once participated in the Iowa primary process (in 2000). I voted for John McCain.
The sharpest of my readers will realize that means I was at the Republican primary not the Democratic caucus. What can I say, my friends were going and I didn't have my own car at the time. It seemed harmless, but I got scared when I was in the middle school auditorium (which was packed, by the way) and Gary Bauer's wife gave her stump speech and it was all rabid anti-choice rants... the crowd was getting worked up. It was at that moment I looked around and thought that I would be ripped limb from limb if they knew what I belived. I didn't tell them, but when we broke into smaller groups I did protest (albeit weakly) against adding a plank to the Republican platform that all abortion be outlawed. Wasn't that already in their platform anyhow?

I digress. The bottom line is that Iowa will take this one personally. Damn South Carolinians.

Interesting side note on the Field of Dreams site in Dyersville Iowa. My friends and I went there when we were in college in Dubuque. It was pretty nifty, but there is a rift... the site actually lies on two sets of property - and the owners have both set up concessions on their side. I imagine this is sort of what it is like at Four Corners - everyone trying to get their piece of the action. It makes it a bit uncomfortable for visitors.

and the podcast posts begin

If you know me, you know I love podcasts.
I listen to podcasts constantly while doing any housework, yardwork, making breakfast in the morning, while on airplanes, as bedtime listening in my hotel room, as morning listening while getting ready in hotel rooms, on car trips, etc.
I love the fact that I am getting knowledge constantly. and I can queue up the knowledge on topics I want. None of this random morning NPR show topic. nope, I can pick the stories of interest.
Note - I do use my iPod for music, and I do tune into WPR for the random discussion topics, I have found lots of great things that way too.

So, why not share my oldies but goodies, my new passions, and the ones that I don't listen to regularly, but still subscribe to. - note: this list does not include all of the podcasts that I have tried and deleted. All of the ones listed below I subscribe to and consistently listen to.
Oldies but goodies
1) NPR Driveway moments - this are stories that listeners responded to very favorably. they are typically 5-10 minutes long.
2) NPR books - collecting all of the book related stories to one show. sweet. - very nice for going to sleep or something you can wander in and out of.
3) Grammar Girl's Quick and Dirty Tips for Better Writing - brief spots all about grammar topics. Good if you want short bursts of knowledge, but you do really have to pay attention for that 5 minutes
- also on this topic is Mr Manners Quick and Dirty Tips for a More Polite Life - brief as well, easier to listen to though. If you hang out with me on a regular basis you don't have to listen to this podcast, I will bring it up and educate you myself. :)
4) 7th Son podiobooks - I didn't find podiobooks until about January, but now I can't stop. Free audiobooks. If you want to donate to the writers you can and a very large portion goes to them, which is a great thing. the best ones are the 7th Son trilogy (the 3rd book eagerly anticipated soon) by JC Hutchins. He even reads it.
5) Big Ideas - this is a lecture series from Ontario public television. it is audio only, and since this lecture is on TV that sort of omits some important stuff. However, you find that commonly with the lecture podcasts. Anyhow, these are long, and often the people have accents. I don't really listen to accents very well (meaning I can't understand what they say), and you have to really concentrate for longer periods of time... I can't muster that concentration all the time, so they aren't frequently listened to any more, but there are more lecture ones that have taken the place of this.
[Important Note here - I have a video ipod. But I don't really like video podcasts although I do subscribe to one - Tiki Bar TV]
6) The Thomas Jefferson Hour - a guy who is a Thomas Jefferson historian pretends to be him and gets interviewed each week about a different topic. My favorite episode was on his relationship to Alexander Hamilton. This was followed a couple months later by a PBS show of some sort on Hamilton and the views were significantly different on Hamilton. Very interesting. Almost makes me want to read a biography of Hamilton. almost.
7) This American Life - popular radio show. good kitchen cleaning/cooking on a Sunday listening.
8) NPR - Wait Wait Don't tell me - this is just a consistent fave. I listen to all of each one of them. My favorite time for this is a boring airplane ride. I am not saying that I listen to my iPod on take off and landing. I may or may not get motion sickness and this show may or may not decrease my symptoms...
9) Tiki Bar TV - afore mentioned Video podcast. funny, but mostly I just think Lala is hot.

New favorites
1) couple new podiobooks -
-Earthcore by Scott Sigler - this was gory but I really enjoyed it. Sci Fi.
-Billibub Baddings - stupid name, but I am sort of into it now. if a dwarf from another dimension that gets teleported to 1920's Chicago and becomes a private dick and investigates crimes that relate to Al Capone is Sci-Fi, then Sci-Fi
-Ancestor - another Scott Sigler one - I am into it fully already and can't wait to find out what sort of chaos awaits these people. :) Sci - Fi
-The Secret World Chronicle - I read it all. I don't know what it all meant and I don't know if it was good. but I will download the next book when it comes out.
2) Cato Daily Podcast - I love this. little think tank tidbits. it is very cool. How does this person feel about the minimum wage, or someone else about trade agreements with China, someone else about Google's K street program (K street is the DC lingo for the lobbying row I think - anyhow it was about Google setting up a lobbying shop in DC) This is great hotel room ironing listening.
3) Lectures from college classes - this has been great - you can find lectures from entire semesters of classes! my favorites that I have tried so far:
- Geo 10 - World Regions, Peoples, and States - from UCBerkeley - I didn't realize that Geography was so cool. nifty!
- History 132 - US since 1865 - from Univ of Alaska - I fell in love with the instructor. I was just getting up the courage to, oh I don't know, fly to Anchorage or something, when, in the last class he says that his child is with him during the lecture. sigh. good info though - lot of info I didn't know about WW1 (not my favorite war anyhow) and progressivism. even a little shout out to Fightin Bob LaFollette. nice.
4) Science - I love science. And I love staying up on the latest. so these two do nicely:
- Nature - for times I really want to get my brain moving about the latest published research. I wish that Science had a podcast like this one.
- Science Talk: the Podcast of Scientific American - I subscribe to SciAm, but this is nice too. much lighter material than Nature (make sense given the readership of the two magazines) and so nice for different times.

umm, There are a bunch more but I am tired. I will continue another day. plus there are some new ones that I am trying out - newest winner - KnitPicks (suprising, who wants to listen to people talk about knitting... could a bowling podcast be any more boring?) any how, I will get those in future posts too.

I am soooo proud!

Here is what I found on my sister's college volleyball team's website:

The Panther's will be led by their Seniors, 2 time MVP and all confernce outside
hitter Laura A and the player who's leadership is
priceless Jill C
. Senior all conference players Kristen
M senior all conference tournament team member Heather V will
also return to the line up. (quote altered to remove last names)

Ignore the poor sentence construction and missing commas - isn't it awesome!!! She rocks.

okay, so she could make an attempt to do her hair a bit the day they take these photos. Nevertheless, she looks good.

Fat Eric and Scratchy Mouse

3) blogs written from the cat perspective are funny
4) if you want to see what exactly Scratchy Mouse is (it wasn't what I was expecting)

go here: http://fatericandfriends.blogspot.com/

you have to go down through his posts about the V-E-T and the kitty jail to get to the Scratchy Mouse post. Very funny.

Random beautiful

spotted this Luna moth last night. I feel lucky to have seen it since I found this on wikipedia about them:
In Canada and northern regions, they can live up to 7 days. Lunas will produce
only one generation per year. These reach adulthood from early June to
early July.
seems as if mine was a bit out of season.

Average Walkability

www.walkscore.com

here is the deal, you put your address into this website and they calculate, based on all of the amenities within walking distance, your home's walkability score.

my house got a 52 out of 100. This is in the "you could do some of your activites by walking, but you probably have to have a car" category. However, I don't actually walk anywhere at this point (bad Lucia). I do want to point out though that I am on average home two days each week. If that.

Nevertheless, you should check the website out, pretty nifty.

You loved it in the winter...

my house in the summer
Originally uploaded by colclc
Now check it out in the summer.
Sure, this picture was taking in very early summer, before the drought killed all of my grass. Also, my hanging flower baskets aren't nearly as cute in this picture (although they are there if you look for them) as they are now.

Check out my brother raking, the Deucester looking all picturesque, and in the far right, my push mower.

the piles of brush remind me of a funny story. okay, so my city sends me a note on my water bill in the spring, it says Brush Pick up begins April 15. So, put my pile of brush out near the curb like my neighbors have done. The brush people never come. I wait. and wait. finally! half of one pile gets taken away... what? only a half of one pile? I have two piles!
I talk to Dee from across the street and she tells me that eventually they will come.
I wait. no brush fairies arrive.
brush is killing my lawn!
move brush to drive way (ah the luxury of the two car driveway. far more charming in the summer than in the winter with snow shoveling doubled)
still nothing.
Now I am pissy, so I move the piles to the street. Not very nice, but I just don't care, I want it to be clear that I expect this to be taken away!
It sits there.
sigh.
Then, one day in early June my brother comes over to earn some money by doing yard work. I come back and snap this picture. He moved those piles back to the driveway! augh! nearly two months worth of battle with the brush pick up people down the drain!
so, resigned, Matty and I gathered it all up and took it to the city yard waste disposal.
Wait! hold on! this is for yard waste only! all over the place are spray painted signs that say NO BRUSH
Ahhh, my chance for retaliation on those who have spurned my brush.
Needless to say, we dumped that brush into those huge dumpsters that said NO BRUSH and went on our merry way.
I justify these actions by reasoning that I must not have had brush if the brush genies wouldn't take the debris.

I am in love.
